I think I was expecting to see more images of Gabby here, but - yeah, the vast majority (granted, itβs a very small set in any case) is pony. And given that:

I think that mailpony isnβt a good implication for that one, but agree mare is.

I donβt think so. For example, post office saddlebag and a letter in mouth clearly indicates a mailmare without any uniform.

If we had a generic tag for a person carrying mail, mailmare and mailpony should probably imply it. Derpibooru has mail carrier, mailman, mailwoman, postman. I think mail carrier looks most promising, but I think itβs best to bring this issue on Derpibooru, let them handle it and then use the solution they end up with.
Fun fact: Derpi even has a mailgriffon tag.
