Yeah, like I said, I understand why you are cautious.
Heck, people have gone to jail for age-play porn where both parties involved were consenting and verifiable adult.
I used to live in a country where the laws were exceptionally vague and over-reaching. Technically, you could go to jail for drawing stick figures if they really wanted to go after you.
Sorry for rambling, just hate the direction things are going and needed to vent.
Thanks for adding the descriptions on all of those anthro tag pages, very concise.

I’ve copied over the base descriptions from derpi for those tags, sans examples; I can find some later, but if anyone already has some good (safe) ones in mind, please do show.
The basics of this in relation to rule #5 is that the laws on “underage pornography” in some countries the site (via several parts of our infrastructure and key staff) are in are (likely intentionally) very vague. Laws use wording like “images that appear to show an underage person in sexual scenarios” and then some paragraphs further down “obscene imagery is not limited to photographs but can include fictional representations of underage persons”. Basically the laws were made to be so vague that drawn lolicon could get flagged as actual CP, and while it would be exceptional for a prosecutor or judge to actually bother, it’s high risk enough for companies to just terminate services outright over to save themselves the risk.
Now, you’re probably thinking, and this is a sane thing to think, “Sweetie Belle can’t ever possibly be confused for a representation of a real person, she’s a unicorn, she has a horn! And look, I made her unguligrade anthro, no human has hooves for feet!”. Unfortunately people will (and have) just drawn straight up “yep, that’s definitely a human child” lolicon, and slapped a tiny horn on the forehead, or floating wings, made the skin colour a bit different. And for the hooves? Well, they just don’t draw the toes separately, like a sock but make sure the “toes” are bent, and call it “unguligrade anthro”.
I’d like to say these are just hypotheticals, but derpi went through this phase, with loli/shota artists trying to skirt the “no human loli” rules but just changing the most minor things possible to call it “anthro”. The end result was just to set it so “foalcon” was so obviously not involving humans at all as to be “safe” by virtue of being pony/feral only.

Yes, and no. In my opinion it’s a silly goalpost. Of course I agree it’s best to be cautious because I don’t want the site to get in trouble, but I disagree with it because long-term I can take an educated guess which direction the goalpost will eventually be moved.
Eventually, all furry content will be banned worldwide, everyone is imprisoned and it’ll be societal collapse since everything in tech and critical infrastructure is kept going by furries

Until then, guess I’ll enjoy what I can from here, and what I can make on my own.

The problem I run into here is that I have several generated images with younger characters I have chosen not to post because the hooves aren’t in the frame, but the pose itself would be awkward for a pony, and is human-like enough that I don’t wanna play with fire.
And honestly, I think just erring on the side of caution is better for everyone.

Cause of the issue is that the link in descriptions uses the image ID from the source, which does not correlate to the image ID on here.
I’m unsure if it should have been reported (using the Other cause) or not.
Posting it here instead in case reports are better meant for high priority matters.
Can probably use this thread to collect ’em all, unless you have a script to find and/or fix them, if there are many instances of the error.
Edit: Same issue is also with the 6-image-series of >>15156, >>15350, >>15398, >>15586, >>15638 and >>15685
At least in this instance, the series has its own tag tag to make them all easy to find, but although the current image link’s ID gives a 404, it’ll eventually link to something completely wrong instead.

If it’s anthro (whatever exactly what that means) but with hooves, wings, horns, whatever.. that’s human-like?
Can it be summed up as “Walking on two feet = anthro, don’t post explicit young characters”?

Let me simplify it for you: Images that appear human-like, such as anthro characters, cannot be made to look underage, even if they are in a stylized form. For example, if you ask the generator to create an ‘anthro’ character (e.g., Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, or Sweetie Belle) and make them look young, the AI will likely do so (most AI platforms will just block your prompt), but posting that here would get you banned.

Can we get descriptors somewhere of anthro, unguligrade anthro, semi-anthro, plantigrade anthro and possibly others, in addition to a table in the rule set of what is allowed to be mixed? Because I’m a bit confused.
If I understand rule 5 (bullet point 2) correctly, sexual situations of anthro mature character is fine, sexual situations of non-anthro underage character is fine, sexual situations of anthro underage character is not fine?
Do not upload images of characters in sexual depictions or scenarios who look underage and look human or human-like (anthro), regardless of style. Do not discuss or link to sites that knowingly host such content.
So, for a sexual image of an underage character which has fingers and feet, it’s forbidden and nothing else matters?
Just wanting to know if I understand this right, or if it’s more like “if it looks like MLP it’s fine, but if it looks like a real child cosplaying MLP, it’s not”.

Considering how many patreon links I’ve seen promoted on pixiv, you’d be very surprised at how frequent it is.

Just because something is posted here doesn’t mean it was posted by the creator, or that the creator intended this place to be the primary audience.
People do all sorts of crazy and incomprehensible things. The rule simply wants to prevent someone from going “I’m artist X actually, here’s my patreon, don’t worry about how I manage to complete comms in a day for half the price of my other patreon”, or mimicking someone’s style to gen contentious content (foalcon, politics, whatever) and pretend the artist did it themselves (something that’s happened surprisingly often with just normal style emulation).
We aren’t going to ask for prompts or workflows here. Just simply, if you’re going to use an existing artist’s style for an image, don’t intentionally try to pass it off as their actual work for any reason.

I really don’t get the impersonation part either. Isn’t this site primarly AI? Shouldn’t it be obvious that uploads are not from the original artists themselves?
Tantabus is intended to host images created using AI, either in their entirety or as a major tool in the creative workflow.
It made sense back on derpi when someone wasn’t posting the prompt and was using an artist LoRA to promote his patreon, but here that’d be entirely pointless.
Maybe you could ask for prompt/workflow if someone was suspected of replicating styles for profit or just ban patreon links, idk. Who would even pay for this stuff?

Well, this-and-that happened, and I got as far as having one program that can take a list of text and extract Derpi links from it, and then a second program that can check a list of links for whether each one contains an AI-tag, spitting out another list containing all positive matches without repeats.
After that, I had intended to simply use a setInterval() of some sort that went to the sorted links and favorited them, but ran face-first into CORS. (Again, very little experience with working outside of a singular webpage at a time.)
I also have no experience with making userscripts, so I feel I’m a bit out of my depth there. I also could’ve sworn I saw a link posted somewhere between this thread and the one on Derpi that lead to a downloader that would specifically grab comments in addition to the image in question, but I straight-up can’t find the post now. Oof.

I disagree. If you look at how this rule is laid out, it specifically targets uses that would be either malicious or directly harmful to the artist by creating potential for confusion and impersonation.
This is already WAY more lenient than how it was on DB, where style emulation of any kind (even subtle or unintentional) was strictly forbidden when using AI (but somehow perfectly fine when a human artist does it).
Being a separate website from DB means we no longer need to appeal to the vocal minority of artists who constantly whine about “AI theft”, but that doesn’t mean we should tolerate genuinely harmful activities on this site, as there are many (even among the AI community) who would be uncomfortable with that.
