Description

Celestia sighted as the knock rang from her office door. For a moment, a tiny fraction of second, she contemplated to remain silent and let the pony outside leave. But then she thought better of it. “It’s open.”
And she was glad she did, since it wasn’t Raven with more paperwork, as she had suspected, but Twilight Velvet. The joy of seeing a friendly face, that didn’t bring more work to her table, vanished quickly however as she saw the frown on the mares face. “Velvet, what ever seems to be the problem?”
The matriarch of house Twinkle sat down on the plush chair on the opposite side of her desk and slapped a single piece of paper on it. “This is the fifth excursion you want to take my little Twily on.”
Celestia gazes at the piece of paper and recognized the permission request. “Yes.” She confirmed.
“Let me rephrase that. The fifth one this year. How many week long trips do you plan to take my little filly on? We see here so little as it is.” The mare huffed, a desperate edge in her voice. “I wanted to take her bungee jumping this weekend.”
A well practices smile worked itself on Celestia’s face. “Velvet, I assure you. The trip are very vital for Twilight’s education and even Equestria itself.”
Velvet blinked, confused. “For Equestria? How?”
“I came to realize that our neighbors are way more open to forge deals in our favor when they are distracted by a cute filly.” There was the ticking of a clock as both mares stared each other for a moment. And Celestia didn’t have a clock in her office.
Then Velvet coughed in her hoof. “You are telling me, you take our little Twilight to negations on national scale to distract other leaders to get better deals for Equestria? You parade around my daughter and weaponize her cuteness?” Celestia nodded.

Original started working on this when I made this one. Got finally around to finish it.

AI is still in its infancy. To me , it looks like she is talking to Zelda, saying something to her, while Zelda in turn is busy petting Twi. You can’t look someone in the eye if you are behind them. Maybe I could have moved her head a little up or down so it would have looked like she is talking at Zelda or Twi more.
One thing I notice in computer generated images is that, when not looking at the viewer or something horizontally aligned, the character(s) often don’t seem to be looking (at least not directly) at the subjects they are supposedly looking at. In this image for example, Zelda seems to be looking at where she is petting Twilight. Twilight is looking at Celestia. But then Celestia is looking off into the distance as if she sees some other pony coming instead of looking at Twilight. Or she could have spotted some cake crumbs on Zelda’s shoulder.
