Psychological Profile: Processing interviews and psychological tests show that the drones captured after Chrysalis’ failed conquest of Canterlot have a wide array of psychological profiles. The most common is a fanatical devotion to their queen, brought on by long-term emotional and physical abuse and manipulation. All of the drones display a lack of empathy for others, ranging from sadistic desires for power over others, indifference, and seeing others as food sources who can be befriended in the matter of a farmer seeing livestock as pets. Half of the drones display traits of sadism with various degrees of severity.
Long term assessment for rehabilitation: Above average to poor.
Restraint Notes: All drones are to wear standard issue prison bodysuits and be restrained at all times with either a straitjacket (accompanied with standard charms and spells to prevent damage to nerves, muscles, and blood vessels) or handcuffs (either behind the back or in front, depending on each drone’s security profile), ankle cuffs, and a form-fitting gag. Gags are to be removed only for feeding, participation in classes, when talking to therapists, and when otherwise necessary. Drones may earn the privilege of not having to wear gags.
All drones are to wear inhibitor rings for the duration of their sentences.
All drones will be kept in their cells overnight, with the rest of their time spent in classes, therapy, exercise, and recreation. For sustenance, volunteers will send each drone positive emotions and feelings during mealtimes.
Because of their status as changelings, all guards and prison staff are to be magically scanned every half-hour to ensure they are not changelings attempting to escape.
Notes on Privileges: As is standard, all drones will be allowed to earn various privileges as a result of good behavior and enrolling in (and completing) classes in self-improvement and skill-building. Privileges include additional time in recreation, reduced restraints, and free time to use as they wish. All drones will be provided reading material, movies once a week and daily television shows after a month of good behavior, as well as visitors.
Warden’s Notes: Despite their attempt to capture Canterlot and overthrow the Royal Princesses, the drones who were left behind and captured after the failed invasion more resemble cult members who have been forcibly removed from their organization than monsters who are beyond redemption. While a few drones are unlikely to be rehabilitated, I believe the rest can be once they see how it is possible to peacefully live with others and have healthy relationships that do not require manipulation and lies. Most are likely to resist, but over time they will realize this is a better way of life, while some seem very likely to quickly adapt, leading to their parole in ten years time.
I look forward to helping these drones discover that they can have a happy and productive life away from the one who has taught them nothing but anger and hate.
