Creator’s notes: Hey there, everycreature. I appreciate your honesty. Perhaps I hadn’t made it clear here, but the sound design in this video was DEFINITELY a deliberate choice. I was going for an exaggerated, surreal, playful and sort of “titillating” audiovisual sensory experience (all done in post production). In other words, the SFX weren't meant to make sense: they were meant to enhance the mood set by the Sphinx. I get that hearing so many absurd wacky SFX isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I value your critiques, and I thank you at least checking out this video. A version WITHOUT the SFX will be uploaded soon.
And as for the music selection, I DID consider “Camel by Camel” as an OBVIOUS choice… but I worry about getting DCMA’d.

If I had a fetish for cartoon sounds this definitely would have made me *boing* *splurt* multiple times. Instead it just made me laugh, which I still appreciate it for. Thank you for uploading both versions.

I would prefer a version without these sound effects. Also, the music could be more fitting, perhaps egyptian-themed. Otherwise, a very good animation.

Funny thing about this is apparently the sound effects were added in post. They weren’t AI generated.
Meaning they were fully intended to be there-as ridiculous as they are.

In laypony’s terms: the goofy sounds were not supposed to turn you OFF: they were supposed to turn you ON.
UPDATE: the new version is up now, without the wacky sounds.

How do you make this?
First, made so many clips from one base image, making sure it’s first and last frame on all of them. Though, there were hiccups.
Base image by Nano Banana and clips by Veo_3 (the voice was part of the clips but I isolated it).
And then I went crazy in post production.
Music: part was created using Suno, and the other part was some remix of “Cheri Cheri Lady”.
