@Eragor14
Because that is the terminology I heard used to refer to the difference, probably on TVTropes*. I have never heard it used in a conversation involving Sherlock Holmes, despite that, obviously, being the source of the names.

Your explanation is Doylist (coming from outside the work, such as the author or the needs of the plot or whatever), and almost certainly true.
Mine is Watsonian (in-world cause and effect) and I am surprised you don’t seem to know that using the oddities of AI to inspire interesting Watsonian explanations is a significant portion of what I do on this site.
@Draco Dei
I think you are taking that too seriously. I think the explanation for the voice is more benign: the computer simply could tell apart the pony from the cat when generating the clip, so it gave the pony the wrong sound clip when generating. Pipette Poster clearly liked it, as they left it in twice.
@Bad Dragon
Well, she IS an Earth Pony, and not everypony capable of learning an animal language has the freak genetics of Zipporwhill, let alone “Okay, who put wings on this Earth Pony?” Fluttershy.
My fanon (besides the above) is that she just recently learned to speak Cat.
This is a prime Real Life example of how TvTropes Will Ruin Your Life.
Amazing.

Are you obsessed with Sherlock Holmes or something? Why did you use Serlock Holmes terminology?

Edited because: Spelling.
Yes, but these videos cost money. Can’t make furtight animations without money.
This is way more interesting than the stupid tight-fitting clothes you drew.
