I just realized that even with this formula, she has a saleable product if there are Humans around because the primary stroking surface has increased by about 20% 50%. Longer contact between return trips means greater relaxation for both parties. With small children, this might, instead, allow two to pet at oncr, thus reducing wait times!

Yes, my head canon for this pair (so far?) of images is that she is working on a potion to temporarily grow normal Ponies to the size of Big Macintosh/Royal Guards. In the other one (posted directly AFTER this one) we see the results of just lengthened her trunk, and now she has the neck working too. She is being careful and taking it in stages, because messing with anatomy is, obviously, a dangerous business. She might work on width of the trunk next, then perhaps increase head size, then lengthen the legs, then…
