If that were the reason, I would have had no issue saying so. My answer was vague because I didn’t want to drop a bunch of text on someone unless they were asking for it.
So, what did I mean? Detail quality and fidelity. The farther something is from the viewer, the greater potential there is for the details to be messy and/or lacking. I don’t have the money to make images large or wallpaper-sized by default; I almost always start with a medium-sized image, because it’s free, then — if I like what I’ve got — spend some currency to enhance the image. That can cause some unwanted changes if the aforementioned poor details are present, and I try to be frugal with my currency, so I often have to find ways to bring something closer to the viewer to avoid multiple enhancements.
In this case, I established that I wanted the branch in the shot so it’s clear Fluttershy’s hanging and not falling, and the text would be by the head (both because it covered up less and because it made more sense to me). I started with her hanging from her tail, but that put her too far away and I felt her teeth and cutie mark deserved better quality. So, not only did I have her hang by her hind hooves to bring her closer, but her back is at an angle instead of perpendicular to the ground.
