Yeah, that’s to be expected. Try as I might I couldn’t even get inpainting to work and Controlnet can only get me so far. I think a big issue is PDXLv6 does not play nice with inpaints, upscales, or controlnet. I tried making it as an experiment to see how I could push the model and thought I’d share the results regardless!
AI can make great pictures, but for now (Maybe in the future I’ll eat my words) it’s not the best tool to make comics and animations.
AI needs a lot of work to either generate something mostly consistent between panels, or edit them. The issue Tyto4tme4l said is quite noticeable, but her scars and even clothing changes quite a bit. In the top panels, her face looks pristine and cute, then the bottom ones she looks bruised. On some she has boots, on others she does not.
However, the effort is notable and it shows, appreciated.
The comic looks good overall, but I’m not sure what happens to Littlepip’s legs. Are they crumbling? They don’t look organic. Also, it’s “Calamity”.
Can’t believe I overlooked that! facepalm Guess I shoulda looked it up before writing it out lol
