Original description below this line

Hoo’Far as Breaker, the G.I. Joe radioman and one of the original green 13 (OG 13) G.I. Joe characters/action figures from the 1982 line relaunch.
I was stumped for awhile about who to make Breaker, but then I remembered something: in the 2009 Rise of Cobra live action movie, Breaker was introduced as Abel “Breaker” Shazz, a Moroccan special forces member and comms expert. Then I remembered Hoo’Far in the episode “Road to Friendship” and how that title had been a reference to the old “Road To…” movies that had taken place in Morocco, and it clicked. So, this can be thought of as not just as Friendship is Magic and Real American Hero fusion, but a Rise of Cobra fusion as well.

Rise of Cobra needs more love. I unironically liked that movie for what it was, like the Michael Bay TF movies.
The all-black tactical suits were apparently based on the suits in Sigma 6, so it would have been better if more color was added.
It certainly wasn’t entirely a bad effort, but there are still a lot aspects that I just can’t get behind. I still don’t like the designs for Cobra Commander or the Viper troopers, and I really don’t like the idea that Cobra Commander was Duke’s old friend, or that the Baroness was his younger sister and Duke’s ex-girlfriend.
And I agree with the suits needing more color - apparently, that’s actually one of the reasons that the Rise of Cobra toy line didn’t sell well, which had the knock on effect of retailers being less eager to stock GI Joe merchandise in the future.
Anyways, maybe next Joe could be Agent Helix, if you haven’t done her already?
I’m actually trying to focus on the Real American Hero characters first, including ones that were exclusive to the cartoon and comics, although I highly doubt I’m going to go through all of them - I’m already hitting a blank with a number of post-86 characters.
I’ll heave to read up on the backstory of Helix to get a better idea of who would be a good fit for her.
