Its doable but so far I havent found any models given by the guy who made that Twilight AI edit, so it wouldnt be something widespread at this point. It would have to be either the same guy or someone who trained their model from scratch using that guide.

And, there are also multiple trained LoRAs off latex editanon’s work too, so we know it’s doable.
Like below anon mentioned, there is human work involved (see: cutie mark being lower res than the rest of the image means they’re manipped in manually), but there are also signs of AI work – see, random artifacts, weird protrusion shape of the right front leg, double outside outline on the left back leg. So, my belief is this is not an AI edit, but rather a fully generated AI image with human editing done to touch it up.
I think the artist just didnt want to draw a bed on that one.
There were some significant artifacts in the last /mlp/ edit with the three nurses that HEAVILY suggested AI assistance that got it taken down (rando text in the bed sheets that was from stock art of a bed, weird rando leftover ghost lines…) so they’re not entirely wrong to suspect something.
Far as I know it’s not ai just an anon on /MLP/ doing edits
