Original description below this line

Yesterday, someone anonymously uploaded this wonderful picture to DB, but after a while it was deleted due to restrictions on the number of uploaded images. I don’t know if the anonymous person who originally uploaded this will do something in the future, but I think this cute art shouldn’t go missing, and I’m uploading it again.

(I post anonymously because I have nothing to do with this work, and I don’t want people opening my profile to think that I did it. The real author of this generation is unknown to me.)

Art is a luxury good. You do not need it to survive and there is nothing FORCING you to use AI to obtain it.
@Background Pony #5099
AI generated art isn’t created, it’s cannibalized from other artistic works stolen from the internet without the artists’ consent and then cut to pieces and reassembled into some cheap imitation. It’s lifeless, lacks intention, and in many ways lack ethical direction. It’s also expensive to run, but since it’s such a budding technology, most companies are running their models on a loss for now. In a couple of years it won’t be so free to use.
Art is a skill that requires work and practice and from what I can see from your gallery, you’re getting there. You shouldn’t give up and take the easy way out and turn to a technology that steals art.

For what it’s worth, looking at the uploads in your gallery I see good qualities already and we all start somewhere. I like https://derpibooru.org/images/2982023?q=uploader_id%3A518246 most, with the pony, weapons, and perspective all looking nice. I would like to see you blossom into a skilled artist someday, even if this tool seems like a useful shortcut to what you currently want.

I tried to draw myself, I have my drawings in my profile, but the quality leaves much to be desired. At the same time, I cannot afford to order a drawing, because firstly, for example, the recent ych in the gallery cost like 2/3 of my monthly salary, secondly, I live in Russia, and transfer money somewhere… this is either not entirely possible, or there will be huge commissions. And for me, AI is a salvation, an opportunity to visualize my fantasies at no cost. At the same time, artists do not lose anything, because without AI, it would remain a fantasy.
And yes, if the OС is not complicated, the AI will draw it without problems, but manual revision is often required to correct minor errors, and for example, to drawing a cutie mark.

Nothing can replace a real artist, but I’ve been learning to draw for a long time, and I’m not able to paint a pony as it stands, and at this time I don’t have enough money to ask someone about the art of my oc for all specific fetishes.
The AI is great for generating it quickly and at least mimicking what you want, but it’s not perfect and it still can’t generate your own oc

Isn’t most of the point of this that it’s highly accessible? I guess you’re allowed to call what you want creative.
@Background Pony #5099
I don’t understand this attitude. Art is not being held hostage from you, it’s a skill like any other that can be understood and improved. I get that to you this is just more cute images, but there are genuine concerns with these models that ignoring will only worsen. I’m not going to rant since conversations like that should be put in the forums instead, but telling people to not be upset about something you do not and do not want to understand helps no one.

it is quite obvious that you didn’t read or pay attention to the coment i said. If you had you would have known i clearly said I had not ever used AI to make art. You would have also known i also clearly said I cannot AFFORD to buy coms. Not everybody has the extra funds to buy art. And I fall into a catargory of the rare person who does not even use credit or debit cards so even if i DID have extra money still wouldnt be able to buy coms

So instead of learning how to draw or commissioning an artist who has spent time to hone their craft, you’d rather use a technology that consumes and regurgitates their art without their concent and spits out a sudo-random result that sort of looks like what you were after? It’s insulting to hear that you’ve give up on artists and simply turned to a program because its convienent and it’s sad that you’ve given up on yourself so much that you’d rather settle with whatever a bunch of keywords give you instead of practicing.

I really wish people would stop griping about AI art. Guess what? Some people cannot draw to save their life. Some people can also NOT afford to comission art works by actual people. I fall into both categories. Now granted i have not tried an AI image maker yet (mainly as i wouldnt even know how to) but that don’t mean I (and others) should not like em. I personally find a lot of em very well done

My English is bad and I use machine translation. Perhaps he distorted the meaning of what he said, but it’s not so easy to get a good result from AI, and I still consider it creative.

I am very pleased to see you here in the comments. Thank you for your creativity, but until this moment I did not know who the author was, and whether there would be any more news from him.
Also, for the convenience of viewers, I added the tag "prompter:blue light", I suggest adding it to every ai art in the future. And also, thank you so much for this creativity, it’s cute, and personally motivates me to continue work with AI.

Here is a screenshot i send to my freiend after i seen how much upvote it has (10:55 p.m. UTC+1 yesterday)
I’m really sorry for going over the limit :D
