Yes, grey area. Very chaos. Even artists’ works don’t get the rights. I did this for other reasons. One is trying the pattern which said “ High quality and efficiency” in companies. Another one is learning the skills to fix both HD and blur pictures’ ability. Ai can generate high quality Pony artworks. Out of fault makes more perfect and no regret.
At most it would qualify as an AI assisted image. You could call it your own art if you used it as a reference to redraw it entirely but this is still mostly an AI product. Also you didn’t prompt it nor generate it which gives you less ownership so to say.
Yep， and many other ways. Add fur between two eyes, hoofs. adjust the hoof’s thickness. That tree just used to set down my logo. I modify the ai’s fault, and ai doesn’t have copyright, So I can say it was mine. If you have the ability to fix ai art. You can take it for you own. Of course.
He edited parts like a weird plant in the background, the pointy chest floof, the cute messy mane, the extra wing, the cutie mark and added that strange tree. Some are improvements but others are questionable.
